Catalysis SL was founded as a private and independent company focused on the research and development of products in the cosmetics and dietetics sectors. The company devotes all its efforts to the manufacture and distribution of dermocosmetic products, nutritional supplements, veterinary products and agricultural products, both in the domestic and international markets.
The Company’s Management, aware of the strategic importance of Halal Quality, embraces a philosophy of providing the market with products that comply with the specific Laws of the Muslim Community. To achieve this purpose, Management undertakes to:
• Provide the necessary resources so that, when a product is considered Halal, it complies with Islamic regulations and the teachings of Islamic jurists.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements agreed with customers regarding the Halal Guarantee Mark, including export requirements and/or external Halal Standards.
• Appoint an internal Halal Quality Representative to oversee the responsibilities of each member of the organisation regarding compliance with the Halal Guarantee Mark, including ethical and personnel responsibilities.
• Provide appropriate training and awareness to all employees who have an influence on the manufacture of a product certified as Halal.
• Produce Halal-certified foods in accordance with the requirements established in the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Comply with the provisions established by the Halal Certification Body in its terms and conditions and submit to the penalty system set out in the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Use raw materials for the manufacture of Halal products that have a Certificate / Declaration / Technical Data Sheet or an origin that complies with the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Manufacture Halal products that do not contain any of the prohibited ingredients (Haram) listed in the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Produce Halal products separately, in time and space, from prohibited products (Haram).
• Keep the documentation required within the Management System properly up to date to ensure compliance with the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Correctly label products classified as Halal, as required by the Islamic Board’s Regulations Governing the Use of the Halal Guarantee Mark.
• Comply with the current applicable legislation in the country of destination where Halal-certified products are supplied.
